“13-Year-Old Solomia Moves Judge to Tears with Her Heavenly Rendition of ‘Time to Say Goodbye'”

13-year-old Solomia Lukyanets wowed judges on *The Voice Germany* with a heartfelt rendition of Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye.” Despite her young age, Solomia’s mature and powerful voice impressed everyone, leaving judge Lena Meyer-Landrut in tears.

Her performance was so moving that Meyer-Landrut and Johannes Strate turned their chairs before she even finished her opening line. By the time she reached the chorus, judge Mark Forster was also captivated and turned his chair. The audience responded with a thunderous applause as Solomia finished, visibly moved.

Originally from Ukraine, Solomia chose the challenging Bocelli song to showcase her vocal abilities. Though she was eventually eliminated in the battle round, she has continued her musical journey. Now studying opera in Berlin, she shares her performances on YouTube and Instagram.

“Time to Say Goodbye,” initially titled “Con te partirò” in Italian, was written by Francesco Sartori and Lucio Quarantotto. Andrea Bocelli’s version became a huge hit, later re-recorded in English as a duet with Sarah Brightman.
