BREAKING: Morgan Wallen Cancels Pittsburgh Show at Acrisure Stadium

Morgan Wallen has officially canceled his scheduled performance at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on June 6 after severe weather conditions forced safety concerns for fans, crew, and staff.

In a statement shared on his Instagram Stories, the country superstar explained that the decision was made after discussions with local officials and his team. He emphasized that there was “no choice” but to call off the show due to dangerous weather expected throughout the day and night.

“After talking with local officials and my team, there is no choice but to cancel tonight’s show due to severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night. Safety for my fans and crew is the highest priority,” the statement read.

According to local weather reports, a severe thunderstorm warning had been issued for Allegheny County and surrounding areas, with forecasts predicting wind gusts up to 70 mph, possible tornado activity, and isolated hail reaching significant sizes. Authorities also warned of potential flash flooding as storms moved through western Pennsylvania.

The Pittsburgh concert was part of Wallen’s Still The Problem Tour, which has been one of the biggest country tours of the year. The show was originally set to feature performances from Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, and Zach John King, following a successful opening night at the same stadium.

Wallen also confirmed that refunds will be available at the point of purchase for all ticket holders affected by the cancellation.

Despite the setback, the tour is set to continue later this month, with the next stop scheduled in Chicago at Soldier Field on June 19. The tour will continue across major U.S. stadiums before wrapping up in Philadelphia on August 1.

While fans in Pittsburgh were disappointed, many praised the decision, noting that safety must always come first during large outdoor events affected by severe weather conditions.
