“Ready and ON THE WAY!” – Ronnie Dunn Confirms Brooks & Dunn Will Be Releasing Their First Original New Music In Nearly 20 Years

September 15, 2026 by cathrinecruza

It’s only been one weekend since Brooks & Dunn kicked off the 2026 run of their “Neon Moon” tour, but the legendary country duo is already giving fans another reason to celebrate. After nearly two decades without releasing new original music, that could soon change.

Ronnie Dunn recently confirmed that new Brooks & Dunn music is on the way, responding to a fan comment on Instagram following their performance at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Even more exciting, his response suggested fans may not have to wait much longer.

The duo last released original music in 2007, though their legacy has continued through projects like REBOOT and REBOOT II, featuring collaborations with artists including Luke Combs, Kacey Musgraves, and Cody Johnson.

With 20 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country chart and a new generation discovering their music, a fresh Brooks & Dunn release could be a major moment for country fans—and a welcome return to the sound that made the duo legendary.
