Reba McEntire is continuing her 50th-anniversary celebration with another emotional new release, giving fans a fresh song centered on heartbreak, memories, and the difficulty of letting go.
On Friday, September 25, the country music icon released “Could Have Been Raining,” marking the sixth new song she has shared this year as part of her special music capsule series.
Earlier this year, Reba revealed plans to release a series of digital music capsules through MCA. Each capsule pairs an original song with a carefully selected playlist of songs from her extensive catalog that connect with the same theme.
The concept gives longtime fans a chance to revisit some of Reba’s beloved recordings while introducing newer listeners to the music that helped establish her legendary career.
So far, Reba’s 2026 capsule releases have included:
