BTS member Jungkook has purchased a detached house in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
According to the real estate industry, Jungkook bought a two-story house in Itaewon-dong for 7.63 billion won (about 720 million yen) last November. Built in 1976, the house is a detached house with an area of 230.74 square meters and a site area of 637 square meters.
The house purchased by Jungkook is located in the Itaewon-dong diplomatic district, which is popular among wealthy people, foreign diplomats and expatriates, and is known for its good security. Near Jungkook’s house are the Kuwait embassy, the Indian embassy’s residence, and Samsung Sunjiwon. Currently, the house purchased by Jungkook has a rental contract with a foreign company. It is also a 10-minute drive (2.5 km) away from Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, where BTS lives in a dormitory.
Recently, investment by famous entertainers has been increasing in Itaewon-dong. In addition to forming a high-class residential area, it is located between the center of Gwanghwamun and Gangnam, and is very popular.
In 2018, Jungkook bought a detached house by selling a famous condominium in Seoul for 1.95 billion won (185 million yen) for the first time in two years
