BTS V is a band member of the famous Korean boy group BTS. BTS is a K-Pop group that debuted in 2013 and has continued to grow rapidly since then. BTS V was born in Gyeonggi, South Korea on December 30th 1995. He is the youngest member of the seven members that form BTS and he has a twin sister named Kim Nam Joo who is also an actress.
His father (Kim Tae Gyun) passed away when he was just four years old which had him move back to Seoul with his mother and twin sister after living three years in Busan where their grandparents lived before moving back again soon enough due to financial problems.

BTS V has been a Sociology major at Gwangju Jeil High School (Korea) and Seoul National University College of Arts/School of Music (South Korea).
BTS V started his career as a dancer, training in classical ballet for thirteen years. He joined Big Hit Entertainment after winning first place at the 2010 SBS Open Competition. BTS debuted with “No More Dream” on June 13, 2013 and were recognized by Billboard as one of South Korea’s top boy bands alongside their label-mates BIGBANG . The band would later become known internationally following the release of their albums Dark & Wild (2014) and The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt.II (2015), which became major successes outside Asia: both entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, with Dark&Wild peaking at #114 and TMBMILI Pt II reaching #62.

In 2017 he played a more substantial role as Park Deok Hae in KBS series “School 2017”. The same year he was cast for an upcoming web drama titled “A Stray Goat” which is scheduled to release mid 2018.
In early 2019 V portrayed the lead male protagonist of romantic comedy movie ‘Love Yourself: Her’ and released its soundtrack album Love Yourself 結 ‘Answer’. After that he starred alongside Cha Eun Woo from Wanna One who acted as Jung Jae Yi in the drama Love Alarm.
By 2018, BTS V had released two solo singles: “Stigma” and “Singularity”. He is also an official member of songwriting team Bangtan Boys which writes scores for their own albums as well as other artists. In 2019 he collaborated with DJ Steve Aoki on a track titled “Waste It On Me” from his latest album Neon Future III.
