Her Private Life Season 2

‘Her Private Life‘ is a South Korean tvN’s television drama starring Park Min-young, Kim Jae-Wook, and Ahn Bo-Hyun.  The series was released before Covid 19 pandemic as the series aired on tvN from April 10 to May 30, 2019. Although this series is one of the successful romantic comedy series, it has already been two years since the premiere of the series and season 2 remains in doubt. Short Summary of Season 1

The drama is created by Kim Hye-young and directed by Hong Jong-chan. The series is based on a novel named Noona Fan Dot Com, written by hey Jin Jeon. The story of the drama revolves around  Shin Deok-mi (Park Min-young) who is a talented chief curator of Cheum Museum of Art. She is also a fanatic fangirl of White Ocean’s Cha Shin-an (Jung Jae-won) and fansite manager of the famous “The Road to  Sian” but she keeps this a secret from everyone. After Uhm So-Hye (Kim Sun-Youg), the current boss is investigated for embezzlement, Ryan Gold becomes the new Art Director of Cheum Museum of Art. Ryan Gold is a retired artist who had to quit art as he develops Stendhal syndrome.

After the false rumors about Deok-mi and Shin-an dating each other break out, Ryan suggests Deok-mi pretend to date each other to ward off Shin-an’s fans who threaten to harm her. But there is one person who is eager to prove Ryan and Deok-mi are a fake couple, which leaves them no choice but to continue their act even at work leading to true love.

Plot For Season 2

The first season had 16 episodes having an average running time of 60 minutes. The series obtained a 7.7 out of 10 rating on IMDb which is a remarkable achievement. As stated previously the story of season one revolves mostly around Sung Deok-mi and Ryan Gold falling in love while pretending to be a couple to prevent Cha Shi-an’s fans from hurting Deok-mi due to false rumors. The entire story for season one is filled with suspense and unexpected twists and turns.

However, for the next season, we might get an entirely different plot or a new story with similar concepts.

The Release Date For Season 2

Currently, there are no official announcements about the renewal or cancellation of the series. But, Netflix might renew the series if the series gets a huge fanbase. So, the new series will most probably be released next year. So stay tuned for more updates.
