J-Hope donates 100 million won to underprivileged children

‘BTS’ J-Hope melted the cold with warm good deeds. 100 million won was donated to underprivileged children.

On the 31st, the ‘Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation’, a representative organization for child advocacy, announced that “J-Hope has donated 100 million won for children from disadvantaged groups in Korea.”

J-Hope explained the reason for the donation, saying, “I was worried that children who are going through the economic downturn and double hardship due to Covid-19 are going through a cold and lonely year-end.”

He then expressed his sincerity by saying, “I hope that our children will be able to spend a warm winter through this sponsorship.”

J-Hope’s donations will be used for heating expenses for children in low-income families and childcare facilities and medical expenses for sick children.

J-Hope has consistently provided support to domestic and foreign children. In 2018, he donated 150 million won to children with nurturing talent and sick children. Since then, a total of 800 million won has been donated so far.

Lee Je-hoon, chairman of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, said, “With the support of stars, social interest in the difficulties faced by children from the underprivileged at home and abroad is being stimulated.”

He added, “I would like to express my gratitude once again to the supporters who give children a warm year-end gift.”

Meanwhile, BTS went on a long vacation. After taking a break, they will prepare for a concert in Seoul in March 2022.
