Lainey Wilson opened the 2025 CMA Awards with a powerhouse medley that celebrated some of country music’s biggest voices—delivering one of the night’s most electrifying moments.
She set the tone with a soulful take on Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse,” accompanied by Charlie Worsham, before launching into the high-energy “Hillbilly Deluxe” by Brooks & Dunn.
Keeping the momentum alive, Wilson moved through the crowd to join Ella Langley for “You Look Like You Love Me,” originally by Langley and Riley Green. She then amped up the energy with “Redneck Woman” alongside Gretchen Wilson herself.
The medley shifted into an emotional gear with “Need You Now” by Lady A, followed by a fierce performance of “Gunpowder & Lead” with Miranda Lambert joining in.
Wilson continued to impress with a lively cover of Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” before welcoming Little Big Town for a stunning rendition of “Girl Crush.”
The show reached its peak when Keith Urban took the stage, adding his signature guitar and vocals to “Where the Blacktop Ends,” closing the medley in spectacular style.
From start to finish, Lainey Wilson’s performance was a high-energy tribute that honored country music’s past and present—while firmly cementing her place at the center of it all.
