Prince was awesome and his solo was incredible. But it wasn’t the solo so much as his showmen ship, which was second to none. Don’t get me wrong prince was in the upper echelons of those considered great guitar players but there are many great guitar players. It’s his performance, his bravado, his quirky little smile his outfit so over the top that all played apart in this epic moment. If you’re a musician and have experienced the feeling however fleeting of that moment when everyone on stage is on the same page completely in the moment, you see it here. The rest on stage have this moment to Prince. From the beginning of his solo to the end they seen the moment and let him take it, and take it he did. Awesome
