Reba McEntire is celebrating her 71st birthday—and according to her, it was the most unforgettable one yet.
The country legend rang in her special day on March 28 with a lavish getaway in Las Vegas, sharing highlights of the celebration with fans on social media. From the looks of it, her fiancé, Rex Linn, went all out to make the occasion truly memorable.
“I have to say this was the best birthday of my entire life,” McEntire shared, noting that she celebrated alongside close friends and loved ones while enjoying everything the city had to offer.
During the trip, the group attended the breathtaking “O” by Cirque du Soleil and experienced The Wizard of Oz at the immersive Sphere venue—both of which left a lasting impression.
Still, one moment stood above the rest.
The highlight of the celebration came when McEntire attended an Eagles concert at the Sphere, calling it the best show she had ever seen. The night also included time spent with music icons like Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and Vince Gill—making it an experience she says she’ll never forget.
The couple stayed at the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas, where McEntire praised the exceptional hospitality and standout dining experiences that added even more to the celebration.
She wrapped up her post by giving special credit to Linn for planning the entire trip, joking that he’s already thinking ahead to next year’s celebration.
As for wedding plans, the couple is still taking their time. Busy work schedules—including their roles on upcoming projects—have delayed setting a date, but both continue to enjoy their engagement and the time they share together.
For McEntire, this birthday wasn’t just about turning another year older—it was about unforgettable moments, meaningful connections, and celebrating life to the fullest.
