After releasing two successful duets and collecting multiple awards together, fans are wondering whether Riley Green and Ella Langley will team up again in the future.
The country duo first joined forces in June 2024 with “You Look Like You Love Me,” a song that quickly became a breakout hit. The track earned widespread acclaim and won Musical Event of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards in 2024. Its success didn’t stop there — the song went on to dominate the 2025 ceremony as well, taking home Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.
Building on that momentum, Green and Langley released a second duet, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” in September 2024. In an interview with Holler, Green revealed that Langley was initially invited into the studio simply to provide a female vocal part. However, once she recorded her vocals, the decision became obvious.
“I was still deciding who I was going to get to do it,” Green explained, “but she did such a great job, we just didn’t think anybody could sing it better.”
The pair has since performed the song live numerous times, including a standout performance during the Season 26 finale of The Voice, further cementing their chemistry onstage.
Will Another Duet Happen?

During a recent conversation with iHeart Country, Green addressed the question fans keep asking: will there be another collaboration?
According to him, the possibility is very real.
“It would be really difficult not to try to do another song with Ella because that’s really worked well,” he said.
Green emphasized that his collaborations happen naturally rather than through industry planning. For him, authenticity matters most — working with artists he genuinely connects with both personally and musically.
“I think fans can tell when it’s real,” he added, explaining that shared backgrounds and similar musical influences help make their partnership feel genuine.
Addressing CMA Awards Rumors
Green’s comments also appear to quiet online speculation that surfaced after the 2025 CMA Awards. Some viewers believed they noticed tension between Green and Langley — and even fellow country artist Megan Moroney — during the broadcast.

The rumors were fueled by unconfirmed speculation about past romantic connections among the artists, leading to social media debates and viral reactions. However, none of those claims have ever been verified.
Based on Green’s recent remarks, there seems to be no bad blood between him and Langley. In fact, their strong creative partnership suggests fans may hear another collaboration sooner rather than later.
For now, listeners can revisit their latest duet, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” as anticipation builds for what could be the duo’s next musical chapter.
