SEVENTEEN’s rise to the top was not so shocking to fans who were sure of their success. This slow, steady growth and present-day reputation is proof that members of this hard-working group deserve all the successes they have achieved. Seventeen has always been number one, but thanks to the Hallyu craze, Seventeen members have a lot to celebrate.
It was recently reported by Pledis Entertainment that Seventeen has now surpassed 10.13 million copies in terms of albums sold so far since their debut — and that is just the domestic sales. The number of sales made internationally would be way higher. Seventeen made their debut in May of 2015 and now after six and a half years in the industry, the group is getting much-deserved attention, internationally. Seventeen members appeared on MTV Fresh Out Live by presenting the live version of ‘Rock With You’, the title song of the 9th mini album Attacca, released last month. The album’s success resulted in the band winning numerous music shows and hitting charts as top performers.
Attacca has become 2 million sellers in the first few weeks after its release. That’s why this year’s group’s world tour is constantly being talked about. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there are rumors suggesting that Seventeen will sooner or later meet fans in person on a world tour. Claims suggest that Seventeen will begin their world tour in the first half of 2022.
The 2022 concert is not over yet, but it seems that there are plans to expand the Japanese fan base by releasing a new single. As part of their project “Power of Love”, the Japanese song “Ai No Chikara” (translated as “Power of Love”) was released as a conclusion of the victory of their activities in 2021 before the New Year began. Will be of global opportunity.
