NCT 127 marks their tenth music show win for their latest release ‘Sticker as they are set on sticking with their fans as they take their third consecutive win on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown. They took first place by defeating ITZY’s ‘Swipe’ this time. ITZY’s ‘Swipe’ (released on September 26) competed against NCT 127’s ‘Swipe’ (released on September 17) on the show which was broadcasted on October 7.
NCT 127’s ‘Sticker’ proves that they are sticking to the trophy despite releasing the MV ten days ahead of ITZY and not having a live performance at the event. Both the songs were nominated for first place but ultimately NCT 127 came on top. With this victory at M Countdown, they achieved their first victory for ‘Sticker’.
NCT 127’s Johnny had wished for the win
NCT 127 were at the top for three weeks in a row at ‘M Countdown’. Fans were very much excited to hear the news about their victory even though they weren’t present in the show because Johnny from the group had wished for the win. Their win was based on song sales, social media presence, album sales, broadcast scores, and live broadcast real-time voting results.
The boy band ‘Golden Child ‘ was also in the broadcast as they had a comeback in all-black suits and mafia-style, very different from their usual style of choices as they performed ‘Ddara’. Many artists like WOODZ, N.Flying, ATEEZ, SHINee’s Key, AB6IX, GOT7’s Youngjae, ITZY, former IZ*ONE member Jo Yuri who made her solo debut on the very same day, Norazo and Pixy as all of them performed their most recent songs on the broadcast.
