We all know that we have many Kpop artists who are very good! But it is very difficult to know exactly who is the best, so I have made a post with “Top K-pop Male Solo Artists”. Let’s get started:

Taemin

Lee Tae Min, known as Taemin, debuted as a vocalist in the group Shinee in 2008. He was the first member of Shinee who went solo. Taemin wants to bring different styles of music into K-pop genre. He tries to show more of an edge, in his music video “Move”:

J-Hope

Jung Hoseok, known as J-Hope, is the main dancer in the K-Pop group, BTS. He debuted in BTS first album ‘2 Cool 3 Skool‘. J-Hope was the third member to join the group. He became one of the most famous celebrities, together with BTS.

The vocalist released his solo mixtape in 2018. Also, he starred in an music video too, with his track:

August D (SUGA)

Min Yoon Gi, known as SUGA or August D, is a Korean rapper, producer, and songwriter. SUGA debuted first as a member of BTS, and after that, he released his first solo mixtape called August D. SUGA has written and produced lyrics for many BTS songs. One thing he’s really good at his piano.

G-Dragon

Kwon Ji Yong, known as G-Dragon, is a K-pop king, according to the world. G-Dragon is a singer and songwriter, rapper, entrepreneur, and fashion icon. G-Dragon was a trainee for YG Entertainment for six years! And that was when he was 12 years old.

Today he releases songs for his group BIGBANG and for solo artists.

RM

Kim Nam-Joon, known as RM (Rap Monster), is a Korean rapper, record producer, and songwriter. RM began his rapping when he was 13 (!) and he was the first member to join the group BTS.

He released his first solo mixtape in 2015.

Jay Park

Jay Park is a Korean American 90’s hip-hop singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, choreographer, dancer, actor, entrepreneur, and a member of Art of Movement. He is also a founder/CEO of two independent hip-hop record labels.

First, he was a member of 2PM, but he re-debuted solo in 2011.

Baekhyun

Byun Baekhyun, known as Baekhyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He is a member of the K-Pop Chinese boy group EXO and a K-pop supergroup SuperM. Baekhyun is the main vocalist in EXO.

He debuted solo in 2019 with his first solo release of his first EP, City Life. He also debuted as an actor in a K-Drama called ‘Moon Lovers’, where he starred alongside his fellow singer, IU!

Chen

Kim Jong Dae, known as Chen, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is the lead dancer in EXO. Chen became a trainee thanks to S.M Entertainment, and he was the fourth member to join the K-Pop group.

Dean

Kwon Hyuk, known as Dean, he established himself as South Korean R&B King of K-Pop, songwriter, record producer, and rapper. He is known for his unique style and vocals. He started when he was 16, and he was already writing lyrics for EXO when he was 20!

Kang Daniel

Kang Daniel is a South Korean singer and songwriter, who won something called famous idol contest Produce 101 (season 2) in 2017. He became a member of a project K-pop group called Wanna One until they disbanded. He went solo in 2019 with his first album Color On Me.
