Wanna one

Wanna One was a South Korean boy band established during the second season of Produce 101 by CJ E&M.Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-Hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-Woon were among the eleven members. Swing Entertainment and CJ E&M released the group on August 7, 2017.

Wanna One was created as a result of Mnet’s’survival’ competition series Produce 101 (season 2), which aired from April 7 to June 16, 2017. The final 11 trainees were selected by public vote from a pool of 101 trainees from various agencies and announced live on television. Wanna One has inked a deal with YMC Entertainment. Wanna One members were not allowed to engage in any other activity with their original agency. Swing Entertainment said on December 18, 2018, that the group’s contract will expire on December 31, 2018, as originally scheduled. Swing further claimed that all agencies agreed to let members attend scheduled year-end concerts and award ceremonies during January 2019. The group’s activities came to a close with a farewell concert.

He was born in Seoul, Korea. When he was six years old, his father died of liver cirrhosis, which was the cause of his death. Two years in Osaka, Japan, and six years in Los Angeles, United States of America had been his home. Having passed the JYP Entertainment Global Audition in the United States in 2015, he began his journey as an idol as a trainee in South Korea.

He was accepted into Brand New Music through an audition in late 2016. A Department of Stage Arts major, Mr. Kim graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul, South Korea, in 2019. Broadcasting and Entertainment is his major at Global Cyber University.

When Produce 101 Season 2 premiered on Mnet in 2017, Lee was one of the contestants. “Pick Me” was the first promotional theme song to feature Lee as the lead singer. In addition to him, Brand New Music trainees Park Woo-jin, Young-min, and Kim Dong-Hyun took part in the program. As a result of his third-place finish, he was selected to be a member of the boy band Wanna One.

Wanna One’s Premier Show-Con was held in the Gocheok Sky Dome on August 7th, and Wanna One debuted with the mini-album  1×1=1. (To Be One). Seong-wu and Ong Seong-wu formed The Heal, which was used for promotional purposes. TLee has several notable solo appearances in 2018 as an emcee. He produced the unit’s song “Sandglass,” for which he wrote the lyrics.

In January of 2019, the group finally disbanded. Brand New Music, Lee’s record company, has been actively releasing Lee’s songs since his debut in Wanna One. “Good Day” was his debut single with MXM. Lee’s record label, Brand New Music, has been actively publishing Lee’s tracks since his debut in Wanna One. With MXM, he released his first song, “Good Day”.

It has been confirmed that Lee will make his acting debut as the male protagonist Dong Jin-woo in Mon Chouchou Global House, a short drama on SBS’s mobile platform Mobidic. Beginning in August, the drama will be filmed and debut in October. Lee’s first solo endorsement agreement was with Coca-Cola Korea’s Fanta pineapple flavor in April 2019.

Kang Daniel was born Kang Eui-geon as the family’s only child in Busan, South Korea. After spending his youth and much of his adolescence with his given name, Eui-geon, he opted to officially alter it to Daniel because his family and friends couldn’t pronounce it.

The name Daniel was inspired by a biblical person, according to Kang. He began dancing in eighth grade after being recommended by a teacher to join a b-boy club and then attended Nataraja Academy, a dance academy in Busan.

Kang claimed that he was bullied in elementary school due to his appearance and that dancing helped him acquire enthusiasm and self-esteem. At Peniel Arts High School, he pursued his passion for dance, studying modern dance for a year and adding ballet as a second major. He even won a gold medal in the dance category at the High School Performing Arts Contest.

Kang had been training for two years and one month before appearing on Season 2 of Produce 101. He began his career as a trainee with B2M Entertainment until the firm was acquired, after which he joined MMO Entertainment as a trainee.

Kang did not take dancing or vocal classes throughout this training time due to the financial problems of both companies. His participation in Her Secret Weapon is where he performed “Invitation” by Uhm Jung-Hwa as was said to be one of his most memorable experiences as a trainee.

Kang represented MMO Entertainment in Season 2 of Produce 101, a boy band reality survival show. He is well recognized for winning the final episode and becoming the face of YMC Entertainment’s Wanna One project boy group.

Kang made his Wanna One debut on August 7 at the Gocheok SkyDome. On August 27, MBC’s It’s Dangerous Beyond The Blankets premiered its pilot season, and he was rumored to be joining the cast.

Wanna One’s activities ceased on January 31, 2019, and Kang was said to be moving to LM Entertainment. However, LM’s exclusive contract with Kang was terminated on March 21 after Kang applied to have his contract revoked.

According to Kang’s legal representative, LM Entertainment entered into joint business agreements that permitted them to sell Kang’s exclusive contract rights to third parties without his consent. Ultimately, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in Kang’s favor, allowing him to suspend his employment and continue his celebrity activities without interference from the firm’s lawyers.

His future ventures are claimed to have been handled by Kang’s agency Konnect Entertainment. Kang is dubbed “Nation’s Center” by South Korean media for his  popularity in his hometown, which has earned him the title of “one of the highest-earning and most significant male solo performers in K-pop.”

It took Kang just a year after his debut to become one of South Korea’s most valued superstars in the advertising industry, reputedly earning 300 million won ($250,000) for every three-month contract and 1 billion won ($860,000) for every one-year deal. When Kang was a member of Wanna One, he secured six solo advertising contracts in addition to the sponsorship agreements he had with the group.

He donated $2 million ($1,730) to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on June 12, 2018. As a result of increased traffic, the Seungil Hope Foundation’s website went down two days after Kang took part in the challenge. Photographer Cho Sei-Letter hon’s from Angels, a 16-year adoption awareness campaign, ended in November 2018 with Jung Woo-sung and Kang Daniel. This orphan image was taken two weeks after the model for the exhibition portrait, according to Cho.

Kang received four bonsang awards in 2020 for his achievements: the APAN Music Awards, the Soribada Best K-Music Awards, the Seoul Music Awards, and The Fact Music Awards.

He also received Stage of the Year, which was originally a daesang award, at the 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards. Since the beginning of his career in 2017, Kang has received 48 awards from 74 nominations.

Park Ji-hoon was born in Masan, South Korea, on May 29, 1999. Since the age of seven, Park has lived in Seoul, despite being from Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Music theatre was his major at the National Middle School of Traditional Arts.

Park graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul in January 2018 with a degree in broadcasting arts. Theater students at Chung-Ang University will be able to enroll in Park’s program in 2018.

When he was younger, Park appeared in musicals Peter Pan (2007–2009), The Harmonium in My Memory, and Radio Star. He also appeared in television dramas Jumong, The King and I, Kimchi Cheese Smile, Iljimae, and others during this time.

Also, Park starred in SS501 SOS, the group’s reality show in which his face was obscured. Idol War was his first appearance with Big Bang in 2007. It was throughout his childhood that his involvement in musical theatre, television, and film as well as his modeling career continued to grow. His teenage years were marked by a relative lack of involvement with the entertainment industry.

But he began training to become an idol singer with SM Entertainment and Fantagio in his twenties. Weak knees prevented him from joining Fantagio’s boy band Astro, and he joined Maroo Entertainment instead.

‘PARK JIHOON 2019 ASIA FAN MEETING’ was organized on February 9 at Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace in Seoul after Wanna One disbanded on December 31, 2018. On the heels of Hong Kong and Macau is Taipei as well as Thailand, the Philippines, Japan. His debut EP as a solo artist was released on March 26 with the tune “L.O.V.E.Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, which broadcast on JTBC on September 16, featured Park in the lead role. Lee Ruby and The Boyz’s Younghoon co-starred with Park Jihoon as the male lead in Kakao M’s version of the hit Webtoon “Love Revolution” as Gong Juyeong. The drama will air in 2020’s second half.

Born in Busan, South Korea, Park Woo-jin is a writer. Park auditioned for Superstar K when he was eleven years old. Korea Arts High School in January 2018 graduated Park. He also appeared in superstar when he was 11 years old. B-boy, crumping, popping, and locking are the dances that he’s skilled in.

Park had been training for a year and a half before he appeared on Produce 101 season two. He began his career as a trainee with JYP Entertainment before moving on to Brand New Music as a trainee.

The following year, Park represented Brand New Music in the second season of the boy band reality show Produce 101. “Hollywood” was choreographed by him, along with his fellow Brand New Music trainees, for the Produce 101 ranking evaluation, which he performed with them.

As a member of YMC Entertainment’s project boy group Wanna One, he finished sixth in the final episode. With the debut mini-album 11=1, Park made his Wanna One debut on August 7, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome during Wanna One Premier Show-Con (To Be One). BTS’ Jimin, Daniel, and Woojin (respectively) took part in the “2011 Busan City Kids Vol. 2” dance competition in Busan. James’ squad beat Woojin in the semifinal, and James and Daniel faced off in the championship.

At the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards, he was a member of Wanna One’s Triple Position unit, which received the “Best Unit Award”. As of December 31, 2018, the group’s official farewell concerts took place on January 24–27, 2019. H

however, he continued to perform with the group until then. Park made his debut as a member of AB6IX, a new boy band under his label Brand New Music, in May 2019.

Ong Seong-wu was born in South Korea’s Incheon. In addition to his younger sister, he has an older sister. In 2014, he graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School after attending Guwol Middle School. Dance and acting were his majors at Dong Seoul University.

During this time, he also danced professionally as being a member of several streets and B-boy dance teams. In the wake of his sister’s piano lessons, Ong’s mother urged him to pick up a musical instrument. After performing at a music competition in 2008, Ong was scouted as a potential trainee by the now-defunct Lion Media.

His debut was delayed due to internal problems at the company, which ultimately led to its closure, and he was unable to sign with other companies for some time. On the recommendation of one of his university professors, he joined his present business Fantagio in August 2016 as an acting trainee.

It’s no secret that Ong is a talented singer and dancer, but he was chosen by his firm as a representative for Produce 101 (season 2) because of his diverse talents. With 984,756 votes, he finished sixth in the finals with an “A” rating.

His debut as a member of Wanna One came as a result of finishing in the top eleven. To prepare for Produce 101, Ong had previously worked on a short film project called Short Film Project: Beginning. When Seong-wu Is Alright was released on June 19, 2017, it was a surprise hit.

Wanna One’s Ong made his debut as a member on August 7, 2017. After his presence on the show, media outlets praised him for his deceit of fellow contestants in the psychological game-style show, resulting in the biggest triumph for the show so far.

As of December 31, 2018, he no longer has a contract with Wanna One. It was not until January 24–27, 2019 that he made his last appearance with the group. It was in March and April of this year that Ong started on his first solo fan-meeting tour, dubbed “Eternity”. Additionally, he was awarded Public Relations Ambassador of the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education on March 7, 2019.

Birthday: September 23, 2001

Nationality: Taiwanese

Height: 183 cm (6’0″)

Weight: 63 kg (139 lbs)

In addition to Lai Kuan-lin, he also goes by the moniker Guanlin, and he is a Taiwanese rapper, singer, and actor based in South Korea. Cube Entertainment scouted Lai while Cube Star World Audition in Taiwan in 2016 and hired her.

Lai represented Cube Entertainment in the second season of Produce 101 in 2017. A total of 905,875 votes earned him a spot in YMC Entertainment’s project boy group Wanna One.

Also operating in China, Dr. Jart asked Lai to be their brand ambassador. The effect was huge for the company, with over 900 million KRW ($800,000) of the endorsed product being sold in just 56 minutes.

On December 31, Cube Entertainment stated that he would be focusing on solo activities in China and making his debut in a new boy group later this year. It was revealed that Lai would be doing solo activities in China and debuting with a new boy group later this year, according to Cube Entertainment’s December 31 announcement.

When Lai won his lawsuit against Cube Entertainment to terminate his contract in June 2021, the Seoul Central District Court stated that he had won. Following concerns raised by some firms about human rights abuses, Lai declared in March 2021 that he would encourage the usage of cotton from Xinjiang in mainland China.

Premier Su Tseng-chang of Taiwan later remarked that certain Taiwan celebrities were selfish for voicing support for Xinjiang’s cotton and that generations of Taiwanese people had worked hard to establish democracy and human rights in their country.

Min was born in Busan, South Korea to his parents and an older sister who is named Hwang Sujin.In the course of scouting, Hwang was selected as a Pledis Entertainment trainee.

After participating in the music video for Orange Caramel’s track “Shanghai Romance,” he became more well-known. Members of Pledis Boys have also appeared on recordings by labelmates. In Produce 101 he was the only member of NU’EST to get it to the final 11.

The next year, Hwang was featured on Fromm’s “Aftermath” After releasing the music video for “Daybreak” from NU’EST’s fifth mini-album Canvas in 2016, Pledis Entertainment released Minhyun and JR’s music video in 2017.

When the second season of Produce 101 premiered, NU’EST suspended all promotions while Minhyun took part in it. In the end, he finished 9th, making him one of the final 11 Wanna One members. To comply with the deal, he was only promoted as a Wanna One for the term of the group’s contract, which lasted about one and a half years.

As of December 31, 2018, Hwang’s Wanna One contract expired. He did not return to NU’EST until January 31st, 2019. Pledis and Swing Entertainment reached an agreement allowing Wanna One’s Pledis the opportunity to attend scheduled year-end performances and award ceremonies in January 2019. On January 27th, 2019, Wanna One staged a four-day farewell concert.

In anticipation of the group’s first comeback since 2016, Hwang released a downloadable solo song titled “Universe” on April 3. There is a music video for the track that was shot in Budapest and Milan. His nickname “Shanghai Boy” came from his appearance in Orange Caramel’s “Shanghai Romance” music video.

In Seoul, South Korea, Bae Jin-young was born on the 10th of May, 2000. He graduated from Lila Art High School. His family consists of him, his parents, and two younger siblings, one brother, and one sister, and he is the oldest sibling.

He joined C9 entertainment and trained there for 10 months. From April 7 to June 16, 2017, Bae Jinyoung took part in the second season of the South Korean boy band survival show Produce 101, which aired on Mnet. Bae Jinyoung’s “Baebastic” introductory PR video went viral before the show began, and he rapidly became a household name. The small face makes him one of the most visually appealing actors.

Jinyoung was named the 3rd most attractive/handsome in Produce 101 by netizens. In real-time voting, Bae Jinyoung came in 10th position with 807,749 votes, earning him a berth in the winning group, YMC Entertainment’s Wanna One. With the EP mini-album 11=1, Bae made his Wanna One debut on August 7, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome at Wanna One Premier Show-Con (To Be One).

In Wanna One, Bae’s authority on stage and tremendous progress since Produce 101 were praised. Wanna One’s musical talents and fame earned Bae 100 significant prizes, and he sponsored 25 different companies in various commercial films.

Wanna One’s farewell concert, “Therefore”, took place over four days, from January 24 to January 27, 2019, in Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, where the group debuted. As a Wanna One member, Bae Jinyoung made his farewell appearance at the closing concert on Saturday.

C9 Entertainment announced on February 27 that Bae Jinyoung’s first Asia fan-meeting tour, “IM YOUNG”, will take place following the dissolution of Wanna One. Unable To Say Goodbye marked Bae Jinyoung’s solo debut on April 26. Under his label agency C9 Entertainment, Bae made his debut as the center, face, and lead dancer of the boy group CIX in July 2019.

Announcing the casting of Bae Jinyoung as the male lead in the WHYNOT Media Original Drama I Deleted My Account on July 30, 2021. A prominent high school student named Shin Yi-jun who appears to be tough on the surface but is truly sensitive will be played by him. It will be aired in November of next year in the broadcast.

Sungwoon was born in the South Korean city of Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. Sungwoon has a sibling who is an older sister. He completed his education at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts. Ha joined Star Crew Entertainment which was previously known as Ardor&Able and trained there for 2 years and 3 months and finally, the main vocalist made his debut  with Hotshot on October 29, 2014, with the digital song “Take a Shot.”

Ha, and another trainee from the same company known as  Roh Tae-Hyun represented Ardor&Able Entertainment in Mnet’s boy group survival competition Produce 101 Season 2 . Ha received 790,302 votes in the final concert, which took place on July 1 and 2, 2017, at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, and was confirmed as the last member of the project boy group Wanna One which was managed under YMC Entertainment. Ha made his Wanna One debut on August 7, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome at the Wanna One Premier Show-Con with a mini-album 11=1 (To Be One). He was also a member of the sub-group which included Hwang Min-Hyun and Yoon Ji-sung, known as Lean on Me. Ha was invited to appear on many TV shows during his tenure with Wanna One, including the eighth edition of the SBS variety show Master Key, Law of the Jungle Sabah, and MBC singing competition program King of Masked Singer.

His contract with Wanna One expired on December 31, 2018, although he continued to perform with the group until their last four-day performance (named “Therefore”) on January 27, 2019, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, where the group performed their debut showcase. Ha released his self-written song “Don’t Forget,” which features former Wanna One member Park Ji-hoon. “Don’t Forget” was made available as a pre-release single from his EP My Moment On January 28.

Yoon Ji-sung was born in Wonju, South Korea as Yoon Byeong-ok. He also has a younger sister who is named  Yoon Seulgi. Yoon was an MMO Entertainment trainee on Produce 101 Season 2 in April 2017. Yoon finished eighth in the show’s final episode and made his Wanna One debut on August 7, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome with the debut mini-album 11=1. He used to live in a basement before becoming an idol, and one winter when the building’s heating broke, he had to sleep nude on the bathroom floor while the shower heater was turned on.

Yoon aggressively marketed with Wanna One until the group’s formal disbandment on December 31, 2018, and continued to appear with the group until its last concert series, Therefore, which took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome from January 24 to 27, 2019. Jisung was prepping for his solo debut before enlisting in the military, according to MMO Entertainment. On February 20, 2019,[8], he launched his debut EP Aside before going on his first fan meeting tour of the same name in Seoul, Macau, Taipei, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok.

According to MMO Entertainment, Jisung is preparing for his solo debut before enrolling in the military. He released his first EP Aside on February 20, 2019, before embarking on his first fan meeting tour of the same name in Seoul, Macau, Taipei, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok. He was supposed to be dismissed from the military on December 13, 2020, however owing to the COVID-19 process, he was discharged on November 20, 2020.

Jaehwan’s hometown is in Seoul, South Korea. He doesn’t have any siblings because he is a single child. Hwan completed his university days at Howon University. Kim appeared as an independent trainee without an agency in the second season of the South Korean boy band survival show Produce 101, which aired on Mnet from April 7 to June 16, 2017. He earned a B from the judges and finished 27th in the first episode. He made his way up to the top 11, finishing fourth, before making his debut with Wanna One. He earned 1,051,735 votes in total. He made his Wanna One debut during the Wanna One Premier Show-Con on August 7, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome, with the mini-album 11=1.

On January 27, 2019, Kim made his farewell appearance as a Wanna One member at their final concerts, dubbed “Therefore,” which took place over four days, finishing at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, where the group performed their debut showcase. Swing Entertainment, which formerly managed Wanna One, signed him in 2019. Following the disbandment of Wanna One, he concentrated on a solo debut with self-written songs. On May 20, 2019, he made his solo debut with the track “Begin Again.”
