Wonder Girls were a South Korean girl group and band founded in 2006 by producer Park Jin-young under JYP Entertainment and debuted in 2007. Yubin, Yeeun, Sunmi, and Hyerim completed the group’s final lineup. Sunye and Sohee departed the group formally in 2015, while Hyuna left in late 2007. With the release of the smash songs “So Hot” and “Nobody” in 2008, Wonder Girls cemented their place as one of the country’s top girl groups.
“Nobody” debuted at #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 after being released as a single in the United States in 2009, becoming Wonder Girls the first South Korean group to do so. The trio made their American debut the following year as an opening act for the Jonas Brothers’ World Tour, singing English versions of their songs.

Hyerim was born in Seoul South Korea to her parents. She also has an older brother named Woo Taekwon. She is trilingual and can speak Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. She completed her university at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and majored in international conferences &Communication. She also did modeling when she used to live in hong kong, she lived there for 14 years.
Before she joined wonder girls, she was in a JYP girl group called Sisters but unfortunately, the band had to quit because two of the members quit. The members of the group were Fei&jia and him. She joined wonder girls when they were already established as a group and when Sunmi was on hiatus. Her roles in the group were rapper, vocalist, guitarist. She is also known to be good friends with day6’s Jae.
She has been in a relationship with Taekwondo athlete Shin Minchul and got married on July 5th, 2020 after being in a relationship for 7 years and 2 months of engagement. Her favorite movies are the last godfather and bad sister. The tv shows that she likes are pops in Seoul, k-rush, hello, stranger! king of the masked singer. After the group disbanded in January of 2017, she still renewed her contract with JYP ent and left 3 years later. In 2020 she signed to RRR entertainment. the company is owned by Hyerim’s former group mate Yubin.
Other than that she also helped in translating Anne’s Frank dairy for its publication in South Korea. Hyerim received an Honorary certificate from the ministry of foreign affairs. She received the award for creating a voluntary video on the safety of traveling overseas.

Gyunwas born in Jeolla, South Korea. Her family consists of her parents, who are divorced, and two younger brothers named Hyunho and Hyunsuk. She completed her middle school at Choong Chun Middle school and as for her High School, she went to Korea High School Of Music and Arts. Finally, she completed her college at Konkuk University. She can also speak multiple languages such as Japanese, Korean, English, and Mandarin.
Ever since she was little she always wanted to be an idol, she would audition for multiple companies. At first, she wanted to be an actress but later grew interested in dancing when she was in high school, because of which she auditioned for JYP and passed the audition in the first trial. All the 50 auditions she went for being an actress were all a fail but she aced the JYP audition on the first try.
She joined JYP and trained there, after a while, she debuted as a member of Wondergiorls in 2007. At that time she was just 14 years old which is very much young. Hyuna didn’t stay in the group for a long time since she had to leave the group because of her health problems, particularly chronic gastroenteritis.
After a year she decided to join CUBE entertainment and she again debuted as a member of CUBE’s girl group 4minute. But, the group disbanded in June of 2016. Hyuna had already debuted as a soloist on 2010 Jan 4th with the single “change”. While she was still in CUBE there were dating rumors between her and Pentagon’s E’Dawn and shortly after it was confirmed by the agency that they two were in fact in a relationship.
There is a pretty strict rule in the KPOP world where idols aren’t allowed to date or be in relationships If an idol is found dating someone they will either be kicked out of the group or company or will have to end their relationship. And because of that rule cube decided to kick out Dwan and Hyuna from the label. On Oct 15th, 2018, she and Dwan joined PSY’s Label P NATION. She still works as a soloist in P NATION AS OD 2021 and is still in a relationship with Dwan publically. P NATION doesn’t have any rule against its artists dating or being in a relationship.
Hyuna has been in the KPOP industry since 2007 now and she has debuted a total of 5 times which are, a member of Wonder Girls, 4minute, the duo “Trouble Maker”, the co-ed group “Triple H”, Dazzling RED, 4Tomrrow.

Sunmi was born in Iksan, South Korea to her parents. Her family consists of her, her mother, step-father, and two younger brothers. She did her schooling in Hwangnam Elementary School, Chung Dam Middle School, and Chung Dam High School. As for college, she did musical theater at Dongguk University.
At the age of 14, she joined JYP entertainment and became a trainee there, her training period was of 1.5 years. JYP revealed her as the 4th member of wonder girls in May 2006. She later made her debut as the vocalist of wonder girls in Feb 10, 2007. Sunmi is bilingual and can speak both Korean and English. In 3 years of her career, Sunmi went on a hiatus to continue the studies she was still pretty young.
On Aug 23rd, 2013 JYP announced that Sunmi would be going solo, Her debut single ’24 hour was a huge hit and got an all-kill on music charts. She again rejoined Wonder girls in 2015 but shortly after the group was announced to disband. Out of all the members, Sunmi was the only one that didn’t renew her contract. In the same year, in Feb she signed with Makeus entertainment. She released her single “Gashina” on Aug 22nd which was a huge hit all over Korea. In her second album, Warning, It also produced two hit singles: “Siren” and “Heroin”.
Sunmi also announced in 2020 that she suffers from BPD which stands for borderline personality disorder, she confessed that she was diagnosed 5 years ago but is now taking treatments and meds. Even though she might struggle with mental health problems, she still is very nice and sweet. She can be seen interacting with her fans a lot and exchanging sweet messages.

Kim Yu-bin was born on October 4, 1988, in Gwangju. She resided in Korea until high school when she attended Anyang High School before relocating to San Jose, California, where she attended and graduated from Leland High School. Yubin received a degree in Film and Musical from Myongji University.
She was supposed to make her debut as a member of Good Entertainment’s Five Girls, with G.NA, After School’s Uee, Secret’s Jun Hyo-Seong, and Spica’s Yang Ji-won. However, owing to Good Entertainment’s financial difficulties, the group split soon before its intended debut in 2007, and the members all left for other South Korean entertainment organizations. On September 7, 2007, Yubin made her Wonder Girls debut as a new member. She was announced as the group’s primary rapper, succeeding Hyuna. Although she is most known as the Wonder Girls’ rapper, Yubin also serves as the group’s backup vocalist on occasion.
On June 24, 2015, it was reported that the Wonder Girls will be reuniting as a band after a two-year break. Yubin was announced to appear in the second season of Unpretty Rapstar on August 17, 2015. Her fame skyrocketed, and as a result, her cosmetics and haircut gained appeal in South Korea. The Wonder Girls announced their disbandment on January 26, 2017, when their contracts ended. Yubin was one of two members that opted to continue as solo singers with JYP Entertainment and extended her contract.
