Country singer Tyler Farr is recovering after being hospitalized with what has been described as a severe concussion following a motor vehicle accident on his farm.
The accident occurred over the weekend and forced Farr to cancel his scheduled performance at Connecticut’s Goshen Stampede on June 13. Event organizers shared the news with fans, explaining that the singer had been taken to a local hospital after the incident.
“Due to a motor vehicle accident on his farm, Tyler Farr was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion,” the festival announced. They also wished him a speedy recovery as fans began sending messages of support.
As of June 15, Farr had not publicly commented on the accident, and few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the crash or the extent of his injuries.
Farr rose to fame in the early 2010s with a string of country hits, including “Redneck Crazy,” “Whiskey in My Water,” and the No. 1 single “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.” Over the years, he has remained a respected voice in country music while also writing songs for artists such as Cole Swindell and Joe Nichols.
The Missouri native is also a husband and father, sharing daughter Hollis Caroline with his wife Hannah.
