After scoring major success together, fans are wondering whether Riley Green and Ella Langley will team up again — and now Green is finally addressing the question.
The country duo has already released two standout duets and collected multiple awards along the way. Their first collaboration, “You Look Like You Love Me,” arrived in June 2024 and quickly became a breakout hit. The song earned the CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year in 2024 before going on to win Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Music Video of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards.
Building on that momentum, Green and Langley released a second duet, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” in September 2024. Green later revealed that Langley initially joined the recording session simply to provide a female vocal part. However, once she recorded her vocals, the decision became obvious.
“I was still deciding who I was going to get to do it,” Green told Holler, “but she did such a great job, we just didn’t think anybody could sing it better than she did.”
The pair has since performed the song live several times, including a memorable appearance during the Season 26 finale of The Voice, further proving their natural onstage chemistry.
So, will another collaboration happen?
During a recent interview with iHeart Country, Green suggested the door is wide open.
“It would be really difficult not to try to do another song with Ella because that’s really worked well,” he said.
Green explained that collaborations, for him, must happen organically rather than through industry planning. He prefers working with artists he genuinely connects with — people he considers friends and musical equals.
@annagrace0 definitely some tension there— we’re team ella anyways🤪🤠🎤❤️🔥 #cmaawards #meganmoroney #rileygreen #fyp #ellalangley
“I think any collaboration I do has got to be something that feels real,” he shared. “Somebody I have a relationship with, somebody I’m a fan of. Me and Ella grew up the same way, and I think fans can tell when it’s genuine.”
He added that most of his collaborations begin casually, often sparked by friendships rather than label decisions.

Meanwhile, fan speculation recently suggested possible tension between Green, Langley, and fellow country singer Megan Moroney following moments captured during the CMA Awards broadcast. Online discussions pointed to rumored past relationships among the artists, though none of those rumors have ever been confirmed.
Green’s recent comments appear to quiet those theories, indicating there are no hard feelings between him and Langley — and possibly hinting that another duet could be on the horizon.
For now, fans can revisit their latest collaboration, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” as they wait to see what this successful musical partnership delivers next.
