Morgan Wallen is using his platform to give his father a voice, and the timing couldn’t be more meaningful.
Pastor Tommy Wallen’s new show, Tommy’s Sunday Seven, officially debuts this Father’s Day on Morgan Wallen Radio, SiriusXM Channel 64. Every Sunday at 9 AM ET, Tommy will deliver a seven-minute devotional, inviting listeners to explore the Bible in a simple, relatable way.
A longtime Baptist pastor from Sneedville, Tennessee, Tommy’s faith journey is one of redemption. After years of struggling with alcoholism and addiction, he found hope through faith and now wants to share that experience with others. In his first episode, he explained:
“I’m not going to try to force what determines how I live on you. I just want to share with you what brought me out of a life of hopelessness because of alcoholism and drug addiction. We will approach this as if none of us have any knowledge of the Bible, so we can begin this journey together.”
Tommy is already a familiar voice to fans through Family Tradition With Tommy Wallen, also heard on Morgan Wallen Radio. During a recent episode, he shared one of the things that makes him most proud as a father:
“Something that makes me really proud is Morgan’s sobriety and the Dad he’s become.”
The Father’s Day launch feels especially fitting. While Morgan Wallen continues to dominate the country music world, he’s also using his platform to highlight something even more important to him—faith, family, and the people who helped shape his life.
