When Lady Gaga And Metallica Performed At The Grammy Awards

James Hetfield from Metallica and Lady Gaga gave a remarkable performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards. They sang “Moth Into Flame” together on February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This moment became a highlight in Grammy history.

The idea for this duo came unexpectedly. At a dinner party hosted by actor Bradley Cooper, Metallica’s drummer, Lars Ulrich, invited Lady Gaga to perform with them at the Grammys. She was excited to join. This brought together metal and pop music in a unique way, first seen during their rehearsal for the show.

Lady Gaga is a big fan of metal music. She has been to Iron Maiden and Anthrax concerts and loves Metallica’s song ‘Metal Militia’. For the Grammy performance, she was very dedicated, arriving early for rehearsals. James Hetfield, on The Howard Stern Show, praised her as a bold and highly creative artist.
